Description

With the reintroduction of an old favourite, the Osprey, Hayter now offers a 46cm self-propelled four-wheel petrol rotary lawn mower with 3-in-1 capability.

At the heart of the Hayter Osprey 46 Autodrive is a beefy 140cc Briggs & Stratton 140cc four-stroke engine with OHV technology. The self-propelled transmission takes the effort out of pushing the mower, even over sloping and rough grassed areas, at a fixed speed of 2mph. The ball bearing mounts for the wheels will keep you running smoothly and freely.

Adaptable to a multitude of grass and cutting conditions, the Hayter Osprey 46 is equipped with a robust steel cutter deck for a long service life. Cut and collect, mulch or rear discharge; the choice of how to deal with the grass clippings is at your fingertips. The mower has a 46cm (18″) cutting width and the cutting height can be adjusted centrally through seven pre-set positions from 25mm to 70mm to suit your desired finish.

Trips to the compost heap are minimised thanks to the large 55 litre grass bag, which is easily removed, emptied and reattached.

Maintaining optimum mowing performance of the Osprey 46 Autodrive is achieved by simply attaching a hosepipe to Hayter’s Easy-Wash system to clean beneath the cutter deck. The handlebars fold down for convenient and compact transportation and storage
