Handmade in Europe, all steps of the production process are under our own control. Each lamp is unique as it is produce individually by hand.

The kind of production we use is called mould casting. The difference between mould casting and aluminium die casting is that it uses double the thickness of material. The material which we use for our mould casting is 100% aluminium.

This product is made from galvanised steel which makes the product more resistant to the elements. This is achieved by our hot-dip galvanizing process. Galvanised steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed, and can be identified by the crystallization patterning on the surface often called a "spangle".

Konstsmide Vega is a traditional style wall lamp, with modern LED technology. This wall mounted outside lantern is also available in other styles.
